How To Ask For A Date

These are two things to remember before asking someone for a date...

1) Plan ahead
Know what you are going to say AND what you want to suggest to do on the date.
2) Be specific
The other person will be much more comfortable if they know exactly what your intentions are and what you want to do.

AND try to relax and enjoy yourself - worst case - they'll say they can't go out and you'll find someone else who will. Someone who appreciates you.
In other words, if the person you are asking out doesn't have enough insight to recognize what a terrific person you are, then they're just not too bright now, are they?

But remember, these two example of deadly questions NOT to ask..."You want to go out?" it's too open-ended and can lead to awkward follow up conversation.The other one, "What are you doing Friday night?"
It's too vague. It may leave your potential date wondering exactly what you have in mind.
The other person doesn't know if you're just curious about what she/he is doing on Friday night or if you want to do something with them...

Valentine's day is just around the corner. Almost everybody want to paint the town red. But then, there are times we just couldn't afford a decent date.Here are some tips to enjoy the company of a love one and have a blast from it without spending much.

• Cook a meal together and share it. And ohhh, don't forget the candles.
  
• Share a hobby or interest like photography or watching a movie.
• Have a picnic in the backyard, park or your own living room.
• Head out for some stargazing on a clear night and point out constellations.
• Do a love one a favor, by helping clean the car and bathing the pets together and be childlike again.
• Composed and read a love letter to your special someone in a scenic park and hand a flower afterwards.
  
• Take a walk with no particular destination and savor the company of your love one.

Sometimes, some of the best dates can't be bought with money. And sometimes, the best ones are those spent with someone whose company we enjoy, wherever we are.
